Marlie Grace + Fergie
Marlie’s Grace’s session took place the day after Thanksgiving. Once you scroll down and see the images, you’ll know why that is of significance. We were seriously on a boat! In Lake Norman!!! At the end of November!!!! What? This winter has definitely had it’s share of craziness!

Rocco
Eisenhower
When you get to photograph a puppy, I instantly think of a tiny fluff ball full of energy bouncing around in front of my camera. Granted, Eisenhower (or Ike for short) was 8-ish months at the time of our session, he was as cool, calm, and collected as a Bernese 10 times his age. I think he wanted to keep his chill face on even though I personally think he was playing off the fact that the click of the shutter made him a little nervous.
We started of our shoot in Ike’s newly redesigned back yard. They had a new pool, spa, deck and grass. It was Ike’s own little paradise! And, that’s when the puppy came... (click on the image above to continue reading)
Jake and Odin
Get ready for some serious #puglife cuteness overload!!!
Jake and Odin mean business when it comes to rockin’ it out for a shoot. They both immediately went into superstar mode and did their thing for the camera. It was pretty comical to watch. They even did amazing for their group shots - always hard images to capture!

Lady and Precious
Time for another surprise session! Christmas is way over so now I can share! Woohoo!!!
This session with Lady and Precious was a surprise gift for their 2-legged dad. Despite rain delays in November, we were able to pull it off just in time for Christmas delivery. :) Of course, it helped that these two sisters were so helpful with their modeling skills!

UberDog
Photographing seven dogs is quite the undertaking. However, I knew that this shoot would be an exception because these guys are UberDogs. Literally!
These pups are the special furkids of the amazing trainers at UberDog Training, one of the premier training companies in the Charlotte area. Chewie
This post should be all about Chewie but I'm going to mostly focus on his amazing parents.
Chewie is a recently adopted hospice pup whose new parents have made it their mission to give a home to elderly dogs from the Poodle rescue they work closely with. I had the honor of photographing their first hospice case in 2014 - Chippendale. Sadly, Chippendale crossed Rainbow Bridge and, despite the heartache, his parents...
