Piper was kinda a life saver. Yes…she is that special.
Piper’s human mom was diagnosed with cancer about 7 years ago. As you can imagine, it was a tough time for her so she decided a little furry friend would help lift her spirits and make each day a little brighter. When she started her search, she already had the perfect dog envisioned in her mind. She wanted a velvet sweetheart with a big ol’ blockhead and a stocky body to support the numerous hugs that were inevitably going to be shared multiple times a day.
Lucky for her, she stumbled upon Piper.
Their bond was immediate and Piper was right alongside her new mom through treatment and recovery. She really was the sunshine that brought her mom a new lease on life. As she got better, Piper and her mom started adventuring together - camping, hiking, and traveling. They never left each other’s side.
So, naturally, when it came time for our shoot together, we picked a place Piper could explore, jump in the water, climb on rocks, and chew on ALL the sticks and grass. I hope I was able to capture the deep bond these two shared. ❤️
