It breaks my heart when I really sit down and think about how short our pets are in our lives. I wish I could document every moment…puppyhood with the floppy tails and wobbly legs, learning how to sit and stay, going on their first car ride, figuring out the daily walking route, enjoying a solid game of fetch, the silly head tilts, the snuggles and funny sleeping positions, etc.
Lottie has gone through all those amazing stages and was sadly near the final stage when she would cross Rainbow Bridge. As of our session together, the vet only gave her a handful of days left. Absolutely devastating.
Her mom loved take Lottie and her sister, Elsie, around to explore local artwork. So we found it fitting to spend a lovely evening together walking the sidewalks of Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix. We kept the pace slow and took it easy to keep Lottie as comfortable as possible. I hope these images and the time we spent together help Lottie’s family throughout their next stages of grief and healing. You will be missed sweet Lottie…
