It's always such an honor when a client comes back for more photos of their furbabies! After Millie and Marlowe's first session, there were already talks of doing a beach session. I was so excited when their mom contacted me after I announced by Folly Beach shoots!!! I'd get to work with this amazing family again?!? Heck yeah!!!
Millie and Marlowe's first session took place when they were just puppies (check out their first session HERE). They were so small and bouncy and we produced some of my favorite images to date - including a Dogster Magazine cover shot!!! I just KNEW Folly was going to be something super special.
And that's exactly what happened.
I don't even know how to describe the evening. After days of cloud cover, the sun broke through leaving behind a sky of lovely pink and orange clouds. The temperature was beyond perfect with just a hint of an ocean breeze. Then, as the sun was setting, music from a nearby wedding rehearsal started to bounce around the beach. It seemed like it was playing just for us. I honestly couldn't make up a better night in my mind.
But on to the dogs...
This was Millie and Marlowe's first adventure to the ocean and it was funny to watch their reaction to the surroundings. They instantly went crazy as they ran around the sand but the water was a bit of a different story. They sniffed it for a while until they got caught off guard by a wave. Haha! Then they weren't too sure of it. But all was better when their beloved tennis ball made and appearance. :)
Seriously, seriously obsessed with these two...
